Our social workers are known as Family Court Advisers and work directly with vulnerable children and families to advise the family courts on the best course of action for the child or young person.
Service Managers provide professional support, advice and supervision to front line practitioners, ensuring that all cases are allocated properly, and the highest possible quality of service is delivered to children and families.
Our Heads of Practice work to raise standards, improve overall peformance and delivery of all our services through a focus on consistent outstanding Social Work practice.
Business Services Officers support the progress of cases from receipt to closure. They carry out administrative duties for local operational teams, following nationally defined procedures.
Business Services Team Leaders manage and develop small teams of Business Services Officers. They ensure the quality of work locally adheres to national standards and provide the key local link beween area management and administrative support to operations. BTSLs manage workload across their administrative team, setting priorities in liaison with their Business Services Manager.
Our Business Services Managers contribute to the direction of business services nationally. They define administrative practices that support efective operations and implement these across the six business areas via Business Services Team Leaders and Business Services Officers. They provide the critical link between business service strategy and practice.
