As a Business Services Officer you will support the progress of cases from receipt to closure. You will carry out administrative duties for local operational teams, following nationally defined procedures.
In this role you will ensure that the information that we hold regarding the children and families that are referred to us is accurate and processed correctly. You will update records on our electronic case recording system, saving relevant documents, sending letters and information packs to service users, and following up missing information. You must therefore have good experience and knowledge of general office practice and procedures, coupled with strong IT skills.
You will carry out telephone, reception and other general administrative duties as required. As you may be a first point of contact for families, courts and solicitors, you will need strong oral and written communication skills.
You should either hold a minimum of NVQ2 in a relevant area or have a willingness to work towards this in the future.
