Family Court Adviser

 

As a Family Court Adviser, you will be working directly with vulnerable children and families to advise the family courts on the best course of action for the child or young person. At the heart of this, you will provide case analysis and recommendations to the court.Social Worker

You will work with parents, relatives, local authorities and the courts and demonstrate your understanding of what the child needs, wants and feels.

 

How we work

It’s a role where you can work truly flexibly.  All of our social work staff receive a laptop or tablet device and a smart phone. This allows a flexible approach to work. Staff can work from an office, court, or home.

 

What you need

To be able to carry out this work you will be social work qualified, registered with the HCPC as a social worker in England, and experienced at working with highly vulnerable children and families. You will be an expert in safeguarding, child engagement, inter-agency working, case analysis, planning and recording.

Our work is demanding, therefore you will need to be resilient and organised, have the ability to work proportionately, with strong IT skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
