  • The report sets out the context in which Cafcass works. It describes our focus on driving up quality and how we have met our Key performance Indicators while managing rising demand effectively and delivering savings when and where we can.
  • Linda Nelmes was recognised for her work in developing the Domestic Abuse Practice Pathway, which has transformed how social workers approach assessments and support children and young people in cases featuring domestic abuse.
  • The Cafcass Operating Framework was first introduced in 2012, to set out what we do and how we use our resources effectively and proportionately. This helps us to provide a consistent service to the children and families referred to us.
